2015-2016 Calendar -The school district calendar for 2015-2016 [pdf] was approved by the school commitee on March 10th and is now available for download. The first day of school for students is Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015.
Project Green School Award - The Plainville Public Schools was nominated by a member of the Plainville community and selected by Project Green Schools to receive an award this year for Outstanding Commitment to Greenovation on May 28th at the MA State House. Potential Legal Issues on Social Media - Attorney Andrew Waugh presented a workshop on potential issues associated with social media tools at the School Committee meeting on Tues, March 11th and it was very informative. Please take a moment to review the handout so you are aware of these issues.
District and School Report Cards -The federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) requires school districts to produce and disseminate annual report cards which include information on student enrollment and teacher qualifications, student achievement, accountability and progress. The 2013 report cards are available for download: District Report Card, AWJ School Report Card and BHW School Report Card.
