  • Walk to School Day on May 3rd - Plainville Schools is looking for volunteers to assist with Walk to School Day on May 3rd. Any assistance you can offer with walking from Lowe's, on the Wood School Track, or assisting in the cafeteria would be greatly appreciated. Please wear your Hawaiian shirt to celebrate the arrival of warmer weather!  If your child is interested in participating in the walk, please fill out the permission form.  For questions, please contact Mr. Ed Clarke.

  • Seeking Presenters for STEAM Career Fair - The Wood School will hold a STEAM Career Fair this year on Friday, June 2, 2017 for students in grades 4-6.   It is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore exciting careers related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. We are seeking presenters to share their expertise with our students. Please email Mrs. Roberts-Pratt if you are interested.

  • Baystate Textile Recycling Fundraiser - Please help recycle clothing, linens, shoes and other fabric based products to raise funds for the Plainville Schools.  The recycle bin is located by the library drop box and KPMA bottle/can shed in the Wood parking lot.  Please download the list of acceptable items for recycling.  To learn more about the program, please download the flyer.  Thank you for your support!
