As a part-time, seasonal, or temporary employee of Plainville Public Schools, you are required by Massachusetts law to participate in the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA) health and retirement plan. This plan serves as a mandatory alternative to Social Security. A mandatory 7.5% pre-tax contribution is automatically deducted from your earnings and placed into a guaranteed interest account.
