Unit 7

Unit 7 Fundations instruction will focus on glued sounds. Glued sounds are unique sounds that contain both a vowel and a consonant(s). Unit 7 is broken down into two parts. The first part of the unit focuses on the glued sounds: ang, ing, ong, ung. The second part of unit 7 targets the glued sounds: ank, ink, onk, unk. Students will be completing activities centered on both phoneme segmentation and blending with these new glued sounds.
