Welcome to Ms. Campbell's Class!
My name is Lindsay Campbell and I am a third grade teacher at Jackson Elementary. This will be my fourth year here at the Jackson! I graduated from Bridgewater State University in January 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Special Education of Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8). After graduating I was a long-term substitute teacher in Brockton for a first grade general education classroom. Next, I received a job in New Bedford where I was a Special Education teacher for two years for sixth grade and taught Math and English Language Arts. After two years in New Bedford due to the long commute, I received a fourth grade special education position in Middleboro for one year where I taught Math and English Language Arts as well. Throughout my three years of teaching special education, I realized the my background in differentiating instruction and meeting the needs of all students could not only benefit students with disabilities but it can benefit every student due to the fact that every student learns differently. I began my first two years as a classroom teacher in Attleboro and fell in love with working with students with a variety of needs and levels. I continued my education in studying teaching students and I will be graduating with my Master's degree in Special Education of Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8) this upcoming December. I am really excited to begin this new experience and continue to grow as an educator as well as learn from your children every day! :)
