  • The Permanent Building Committee for the town of Plainville invites all Plainville citizens to attend a public information session in order to discuss plans for a new town hall and public safety building.  The public information session will be held in the upper level of the Senior Center on Wednesday, May 10th at 7 PM.

  • Walk to School Day on May 3rd - Plainville Schools is looking for volunteers to assist with Walk to School Day on May 3rd. Any assistance you can offer with walking from Lowe's, on the Wood School Track, or assisting in the cafeteria would be greatly appreciated. Please wear your Hawaiian shirt to celebrate the arrival of warmer weather!  If your child is interested in participating in the walk, please fill out the permission form.  For questions, please contact Mr. Ed Clarke.

  • Seeking Presenters for STEAM Career Fair - The Wood School will hold a STEAM Career Fair this year on Friday, June 2, 2017 for students in grades 4-6.   It is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore exciting careers related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. We are seeking presenters to share their expertise with our students. Please email Mrs. Roberts-Pratt if you are interested.
