    INTERACTIVE LESSONS FOR STUDENTS!

Grade level lessons incorporate areas such as math and language arts while introducing basic computer skills. Many of the kindergarten and first grade activities are equipped with sound to enhance understanding.

    MAKE MATH PRACTICE FUN!

IXL's math skills are aligned to the 2011 Massachusetts Curriculum Framework (Common Core). IXL automatically tracks student progress and displays proficiency scores in the state standards reports. These reports allow you to quickly evaluate student aptitude and identify trouble spots.

    MATH CHALLENGE:

Todays citizens need more than basic computation and rote mathematical skills. They must master the higher-level concepts and approaches to problem solving that are key to success in work and everyday life.

To meet this need, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, in cooperation with the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering, Widmeyer Communications, and the Learning First Alliance, launched Figure This! Each challenge features fun facts, resources, additional related problems, solutions and hints.  This is geared towards upper elementary level and middle schools.

    COME EXPLORE VIRTUAL MATH LIBRARY:

The National Library of Virtual Manipulatives (NLVM) is an NSF supported project that began in 1999 to develop a library of uniquely interactive, web-based virtual manipulatives or concept tutorials, mostly in the form of Java applets, for mathematics instruction (K-12 emphasis).
