Welcome to 2E! I hope you are as excited as I am to learn, grow, and have lots of fun this year! My name is Mrs. Eighmy, and I am thrilled to get to know you, and to see what amazing things you will accomplish in second grade!
As we progress through the year, I hope that this website will be a convenient and effective tool for both students and families to gather important information about our classroom community and the learning that we do each day. You will also find many interactive games and activities on the "Useful Links" page that are all connected to our curriculum and are a fun way to build and practice skills.Families will also be able to get a glimpse inside of our classroom after joining our private "Class Dojo" community page. Class Dojo will be the tool that is updated most frequently with pictures, videos, announcements, and insight into our current curriculum units and activities that we are working on in class. All families will get a personal invite to join the page and this will serve as our Classroom Newsletter.Throughout the year, if you have questions or concerns about your child's academic or social/emotional needs, please know that I am available to meet before or after school.
