The Student Technology Club, also known as S.W.A.T. (Students Will Advance Technology) and S.W.A.T Junior will be offered to students in grades 1-6 who are interested in discovering, exploring and learning more about technology.  As part of the S.W.A.T. team, the students will broaden their knowledge, increase their skills, and learn about technology trends.  The activities will range from digital storytelling, animation, programming, green screen technology or movie making.  For Enrichment Cycle I, S.W.A.T. Club will be running once a week for 7 weeks:

Through an easy, web-based 3D design and modeling tool called Tinkercad, students will move, scale, and rotate 3D objects in the 3D workspace.  They will copy, paste and adjust simple shapes to create variations of those shapes. They will also learn to prepare their models for 3D printing.

    Dates: 10/27, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/30, 12/7, 12/14 & 21
