STUDENT TECHNOLOGY CLUB (S.W.A.T.)  

The Student Technology Club, also known as S.W.A.T. (Students Will Advance Technology) and S.W.A.T Junior will be offered to students in grades 1-6 who are interested in discovering, exploring and learning more about technology.  As part of the S.W.A.T. team, the students will broaden their knowledge, increase their skills, and learn about technology trends.  The activities will range from digital storytelling, animation, programming, green screen technology or movie making.  For Enrichment Cycle II, S.W.A.T. Club will be running once a week for 6 weeks:
  
Dates:  3/29, 4/6, 4/12, 4/26, 5/3 & 5/10
Time: 7:55 – 8:40 am
Location: Wood School Computer Lab 
No enrichments classes during April vacation and Good Friday
 
The meetings for S.W.A.T (Grades 4-6) will be held at the Computer Lab at the Wood School.   Unfortunately, the enrichment program is fee based.  However, students will not be denied due to inability to pay.  Please contact the Superintendent's office at 508-699-1300 for assistance.  The brochure will be available soon! 3D Modeling & Printing   

Discover, explore and imagine the possibilities of designing and creating all types of 3D models! In this class, students will learn beyond the basics and build a project that will encourage experimentation and innovation!  Through an easy, web-based 3D design and modeling tool called Tinkercad, students will learn to sharpen their design skills in the 3D workspace and increase their knowledge in 3D printing!

Location: Wood School Learning Commons
