We believe that independent reading is an important part of each student’s learning and development. We encourage our students to select books they want to read and discover the enjoyment and power of reading.

As a school library, we lend books for a period of two weeks to students (they are expected to check out books during their scheduled book selection time, and return books within the next two classes). We do not charge “fines", however, if a book is permanently lost or damaged beyond repair, a replacement copy will be requested.
