Splash Math
Your child has been assigned a user name and password for Splash Math.com. When they log on, they click "Sign In" (at the top right of the webpage), and then they select "Student." Next, they will enter their user name and password. (A copy of their log-in information is written inside of the front cover of your child's homework agenda.)
Splash Math is a offers some free practice with their website; (it offers more with a paid membership). The practice that is free, however, is great! I highly recommend your child practicing with it both at home and at school. :)

There is a variety of practice on this website. On the site, when you scroll down through the Math Games, you can find practice under the following headings:1) Baseball Geometry;2) Cowboy Math;3) Big Count Bayou; and4) Fraction Cafe.Within each of those headings there are several links to practice many math concepts. The fraction practice activities are great! -
Learn Zillion
This website offers tremendous support; you can turn to Learn Zillion for both Math and ELA support. It offers video lessons with practice problems which target specific concepts that we are learning in class. An important piece of information to share with you is that Learn Zillion offers free samples of instruction as well as a paid membership to access additional samples of instruction. That being said, I find that You Tube offers an incredible supply of free Learn Zillion videos that are no longer offered for free on Learn Zillion's website. I share that in case you do go on to Learn Zillion and you don't find as much support as you may have originally anticipated. (I've found that to be true myself...and so I share this with you!). I will be updating this page with direct links to concepts we have covered in math class. In the interim, if there are specific concepts that you and your child want to target, I'd "google search" the mathematical concept with Learn Zillion. (For example: Google search "multiples and factors Learn Zillion.") Several free links that offer instruction through multiple strategies will be accessible, (and again, without paying for that membership!). Another wonderful thing about this is that the strategies that we're learning with repeat, (such as using a number line). With continued practice, and across concepts, it's a wonderful resource as the kids have been exposed to and learning with these resources that are used in the Learn Zillion instructional videos.Again, the site also offers a great amount of ELA support. It's definitely worth your while exploring. It's a favorite of mine. I hope that you, too, find it helpful!
