The Therapeutic Learning Classroom (TLC) model serves students in grades 1-6 who are identified on the Autism Spectrum or significantly developmentally delayed.  Staffing consists of highly qualified special educators and varying numbers of paraprofessionals based on the individual needs of the students.  The program is highly structured and follows a language-based approach to all academic subjects.  The small, intensive classroom setting provides students with opportunities to increase their abilities in the areas of academic, life skills, and socialization.  The theories of Applied Behavioral Analysis are incorporated into the program.  

Additionally, opportunities to be included in the general education setting are an integral part of this program.  Students are always included in homeroom and special subject areas.  With support, students are often included in academic classes, as well.
